Ancient Greek Drama: contemporary approaches &
education
on the 26th-30th of March 2010 in Athens.
A number of prominent international researchers and theatre practitioners are taking part with lectures, discussions, practical workshops, and master classes.
The aim of the Symposium is to accommodate and foster dialogue concerning contemporary research and professional practice related to ancient drama and education (formal and non-formal).
It can be attended by teachers, artists, theatrologists, students of theatre and of education, and anyone who is interested in ancient Greek drama and education.
Participants will attend the lectures (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 10.00-12.30), the workshop Working with students today: opportunities and challenges (Saturday, 27/3/2010, 13.30-15.00), the workshop Performance analysis and theatrical communication (Sunday, 28/3/2010, 13.30-15.00), the workshop by F. Tsalahouris (Monday, 29/3/2010, 13.30-17.30) and two (2) three-hour practical workshops (one on Saturday, 27/3, and one on Sunday, 28/3/2010, 15.30-18.30).
