Worksheet 1: Using the Drama in Education Site
The
following is a worksheet used by Ken in training sessions. You may
prefer to open this page in your web browser as a new window to have
access to it throughout the session. To do this:
If
you are using Windows right mouse click and select 'open page
in a new window.'
If
you are using a Mac hold down the Control button and mouse click
then select open page in a new window.
Now
you can switch between the Worksheet and any other web site you
are working on by selecting from the Window menu.

have already done this if you have got this far. The URL (or address

2. Explore how the site works
Notice
that there are navigation bars at the top of the screen and alos
links at the bottom.

Example of how to navigate the site
On
the top click on home and see what happens.

Now
click through each of the top level links to see what else is
available.

Using the Site
Take
a look at
Links. Take a moment to review the type of information that
is available here. You might be interested in what Associations
exist and what conferences they run.
If
you teach A Level you might be interested to find out about Practitioners.
If
you teach any exam you might like to know what the Examination
Boards can offer online.
Most
Drama teachers plans visits to the Theatre so why not start by looking
at the Theatre Section. Click on the Whats on Stage
Link and browse this site.
