STIMULUS
T.I.R. plus box plus volunteer
ACTIVITY
Get into pairs and recreate the scene, moving the scene on to what happens next. Then come together as a class, asking one pair to volunteer to show their scene to the whole group. As the drama unfolds, freeze the action, and question the volunteers, who must remain in role, about their feelings towards the box, the other person etc. Repeat with other volunteers, this time encouraging the class to hot seat the characters.
EVALUATION
Check what the children understood from the activity, and what they learnt about their characters by having a group discussion. Did those playing the "takers" now feel guilty about having taken the box, and how did the others feel about reprimanding them? This should indicate if the original aims were achieved.
