AIM
To explore the perception of guilt and innocence.
STIMULUS
TiR as detective, giving brief of a crime that has occurred.
All class are suspects.
ACTIVITY
- in pairs create alibi for night of the crime.
- hot-seating one at a time (half of the pair is outside the door).
Repeat with second to check both stories against each other.
- in same pairs one becomes prosecuting barrister , rehearse cross examination.
- show x4 scenes.
- TiR as the judge, rest of class as jury.
- jury makes judgements , judge sums up.
