ICT in Drama Classrooms of the Future
Just as the modern stage is changing so are Drama classrooms. Much more interactive use is being made of technology within lessons and within school performances. Some of the following already exist in some form in schools and are being actively developed:
• Live video feed within public or examination performances
• Drama class work recorded and uploaded to the School Intranet for further use
• Student run radio stations
• Student run TV stations
• Front and back projection within performance
• Blue and green screens to enable any backdrop to be projected and then filmed
• Video, audio and text communication across the Internet to students in other countries who work on joint projects
